The Istrouma Area Council Sporting Clay Classic is celebrating its 21st year in 2019! It was the first Clay Shoot of its kind in Louisiana. Proceeds from the event benefit youth development in the Istrouma Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Gather a team and come join the tradition!
Your team members and guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, auctions and the presentation of the Community Leadership Development award on Thursday night. Friday, your team’s skills will be tested shooting sporting clays at beautiful Avondale Scout Reservation. Breakfast and hot boiled crawfish seasoned to perfection will be provided, and tons of door prizes to give away!
Avondale Scout Reservation is located three miles east of Clinton, Louisiana on State Highway 10. It consists of 1,600 acres of winding creeks, open meadows, marshes, rolling hills, dense hardwood and pine forests and sparkling lakes. 51 weeks out of the year it is used by thousands of Scouts to experience the great outdoors. For this event it will be converted into a beautiful sporting clays course.
The course is set to be a fun shoot for all skill levels but some stations that will challenge even the expert marksman!

Can't commit to a full morning of fun at Avondale Scout Reservation? Join us for the dinner on Thursday night at Drusilla Place. The evening includes a buffet, silent and live auctions and the presentation of the Community Leadership Development Award to ERIC LANE, the 2019 honoree. Tickets are $40 per person.
