The Istrouma Area Council, Boy Scouts of America serves 13 parishes in Louisiana and Wilkinson County in Mississippi, representing more than 5,500 youth and more than 2,500 adult leaders. This Annual Recognition Reception serves as the premier event to recognize our achievements and accomplishments from 2017. This event promises to be the biggest and best yet.

Honoring Eagle Scouts, Scouters, Venturers, Veterans and more!

What: The Istrouma Area Council Annual Recognition Reception

  • Silver Beaver Presentations – this coveted award is the highest honor allowed to be presented at the local level to Istrouma Area Council Adult Volunteers
  • Recognizing the 2017 Class of Eagle Scouts – 119 Scouts who earned the Eagle Rank in 2017 will be recognized
  • Journey to Excellence – Quality District Awards – recognizing Scouting on the local level for quality program and growth

When:  Sunday, February 18, 2018

  • Program begins at 2:30pm
  • Reception to follow program with a delicious buffet of appetizers

Cost:   $35 adult / $20 youth (age 14 and under) until February 9, 2018 (a $10 late fee applies after 2/9/18).  

Eagle Scouts & Silver Beavers will be our guest for the reception no charge.
