Hunger, it’s a way of life for an increasing number of families in the 13 parishes and 1 county that the Istrouma Area Council serves. Many face hopeless decisions for medicine, heat or food. Groups that provide assistance are struggling with increasing requests and shrinking resources. The Boy Scouts of America answer this call by collecting food and supporting community agencies that fight hunger.
Please help us provide food and hope to our neighbors.
Bags and flyers will be ready after Thanksgiving at the Pennington Scout Service Center or can be picked up at the district roundtable in December.
