Overview of the day’s events:
All participants are to park in the Summer Camp parking lot and make their way via the RED Gate Archway to the Dining Hall for registration/check-in and an opportunity to enjoy a continental style breakfast. Following breakfast a mandatory safety briefing will be held for all participants. At the completion of the mandatory safety briefing the assigned teams accompanied by their NRA certified shotgun instructors will be directed to their designated starting point on the course. We will be utilizing a shotgun start for the event.
The “Road Kill Cafe” will be providing lunch in the Dining Hall. At the completion of lunch all teams that have not completed their round will return to the course to do so. Youth participants, adult walk participants and spectators that have completed their round are encouraged to return to the course to cheer on the teams as they complete their round.
Once all teams have completed their rounds we will all gather at the Dining Hall for presentation of awards, certificates and door prizes. At the completion of the awards ceremony, youth shooters that wish to get in a little more time behind a shotgun are welcome to hang out with our NRA RSOs and Instructors at the Chapel station. We’ll shoot till the sun goes down or the supplies run out whichever comes first.
