Exploring Certification Course
The National Service Center of
Learning for Life and Exploring invites you:
WHAT: TRAVELING EXPLORING CERTIFICATION
Professionals and volunteers are invited to attend the Exploring Certification course as part of the continued 2017 Exploring Explosion growth campaign.
The Exploring Certification course is a 3-part course that requires the completion of pre-course work (approximately 4 hours), 8 hours of classroom instruction, and post-course work within 12 months of completing the classroom instruction portion. BSA and LFL professionals’ personnel records will be updated upon completion of each course. Volunteers’ training records will also be updated upon the completion of each course. Both professionals and volunteers will receive a graduation packet that includes a certificate and other recognition items, once all three parts are completed. This course will prepare you to grow Exploring.
2017 Exploring Explosion is a mission-driven, nationwide Exploring growth campaign that
engages more volunteers and professionals, advances local programs, and ultimately improves Journey to Excellence scores for local councils. Please visit www.exploringexplosion.org for more information and resources on this 2017 National campaign.
