Lifeguard Sign Up - Cub Scout Day Camp
Information Meeting on Wednesday, 3/29 at 7:30 PM.
Those who complete the course will be certified as Red Cross Pool and Waterfront Lifeguards as well as BSA Lifeguards. Course age requirements are that the Scout must be 16 years old by the time the swim check is scheduled (5/20/2023.) NOTE: This year we expect to have some openings for lifeguards at “Camp Glenwood” in the Loranger/Folsom area for 15-year-olds this year. They will be certified as Red Cross Pool Lifeguards as well as BSA Lifeguards. As in the past years, siblings and friends of scouts are welcome to participate based on their ages.
There is a cost for this training and it will be paid out of the Cub Scout Day Camp budget. To receive this training, you are required to give back by participating in 1 day of swim check, 1 day for camp set up, and 1 week (M-F) at Cub Scout Day Camp this year, based on the location you are assigned.
